Qualix Academy
Jay Vasudevan leads Qualix Academy’s day-to-day training delivery and consulting engagements as Director – Operational Excellence & Learning. He brings enterprise-scale Process Excellence leadership from his role as Director – Process Excellence at The Akshaya Patra Foundation, India’s largest PPP mid-day meal programme, where he drove Lean Six Sigma, Kaizen and TPM deployment across the organisation, built internal capability by training thousands of employees, and championed a culture of continuous improvement recognised by industry bodies including the CII.
Earlier in his career, Jay built a foundation in food science and quality with Kemin Industries and in F&B operations with Café Coffee Day, before moving into enterprise process excellence leadership. He holds an Executive General Management credential from the Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore, alongside a postgraduate diploma in food technology and a science background from Mahatma Gandhi University and Calicut University.
A Master Black Belt and Lean Practitioner, Jay has personally led and implemented 500+ Lean Six Sigma projects on the ground — and now brings this same practitioner-level, enterprise-scale experience to every Qualix Academy training programme and consulting engagement, from first-time Yellow Belt learners to enterprise-wide improvement projects.
